Ohio State leads Alabama 34-21 in Sugar Bowl
NEW ORLEANS - The new College Football Playoff already making mayhem, as Ohio State leads Alabama 34-21 in the College Football semifinal.
Ohio State has scored 28 unanswered in the game after trailing 21-6. They've done it in a variety of ways. They've scored a rushing TD, passing TD, WR pass TD (trick play), and an interception returned for a touchdown. QB Cardale Jones is 18-31 for 243 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. He also has 57 yards rushing.
The Crimson Tide jumped out to their 21-6 lead, thanks first to a fumble recovery by former Dutchtown star Landon Collins, which led to running back Derrick Henry scoring from 25 yards out to make it 7-3. Then scores by All-SEC selections WR Amari Cooper and RB TJ Yeldon made it 21-6.
The winner of this game advances to the National Championship against Oregon, Monday the 12th in Dallas, TX.
