Motorcyclist killed in high-speed crash
BATON ROUGE- A motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash Wednesday.
Sheriff's deputies said John McCurley, 34, was thrown from his bike and died on the scene. The crash happened in the 18000 block of North Joor Road.
Crash investigators said McCurley was seen speeding around other vehicles before crashing into the back of a delivery truck around 3 p.m.
