Missing man found safe and sound
PLAQUEMINE - City police found a missing person overnight after issuing an alert Tuesday for a 64-year-old man who hadn't spoken with his family since last Friday.
Norman Deggs appeared to have vanished, family members reported to police. He was last seen and heard from on January 23rd. Police said family members were worried and added it was out of character for Deggs to disappear.
The were concerened Deggs, who suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes, could become very ill without his medication.
Police say he was found in good health. No word on his whereabouts over the past few days.
