Market at the Mill
BATON ROUGE- Soon you'll be able to shop until you drop while enjoying some great food and music at Market at the Mill in New Roads.
Virginia Montceret stopped by 2une In this morning to give us all the details on the upcoming fine art and craft show.
This year's Market at the Mill will feature a preview party on April 9th. The preview will include a style show, giving people the chance to shop for a few hours before the market officially opens on Friday.
A one-time admission fee of $25 will be charged to those attending Thursday's preview, which will also include live music, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar.
"We have great antiques and collectible items," Montceret told News 2's John Pastorek. "We even have plants and ferns for those itching to get their yards ready."
Montceret says the Market at the Mill has revitalized a specific part of New Roads.
"This four-year tradition has really transformed a whole community area that was underutilized," said Montceret.
The Market at the Mill will give people a chance to try out some great food and great shopping in a really lively environment.
The event will be held from April 9th through April 11th at the Historic Cotton Mill in New Roads. For people only attending on Friday and Saturday tickets will be $5 per day.
