HARVEY - Investigators believe a robbery led to a shooting in the parking lot outside a Jefferson Parish movie theater.

WWL-TV reports that one man was wounded in Friday evening's shooting outside the AMC Westbank Palace 16 theater in Harvey.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says the shooting victim was taken to a New Orleans hospital. His name and condition weren't immediately released.

The sheriff's office says two men were trying to buy drugs from another man in the parking lot when the suspects robbed and shot him.

No information about the suspects was immediately released.
