Man found dead at vacant Greenwell Springs Road home identified
BATON ROUGE – Detectives say one man was found shot to death on Friday morning at a vacant home in Baton Rouge.
On Monday, Baton Rouge Police said the man has been identified as 43-year-old Thomas Harris. Harris is believed to be homeless.
Harris' body was found around 10:15 a.m. on Friday at a home at 8860 Greenwell Springs Road. Detectives say an anonymous caller said a man had been shot to death at the home.
Investigators say they do not know a motive to the crime at this time.
