Man accused of uploading video of child rape online
BATON ROUGE- A man accused of uploading video of a young child being raped has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Michael Gonzalez, 35, was booked into Parish Prison with one count of pornography involving juveniles, arrest records show.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted state authorities to a video allegedly uploaded by Gonzalez to an online video storage service in early August. The video appears to show a man raping a girl who authorities say appears to be between 4 and 7 years old, according to an arrest warrant.
Investigators searched Gonzalez' online account and found no other child pornography, but did find images of possible drug use, according to arrest records.
