Man accused of shooting man at Boomtown Casino parking lot
HARVEY, La. (AP) - Authorities say a Louisiana man accused of shooting his friend in the parking lot of Boomtown Casino has been arrested.
NOLA.com/The Times Picayune reported Tuesday that 31-year-old Micarious Mack is accused in the April shooting outside Boomtown Casino in Harvey.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Jason Rivarde says the 30-year-old victim had been gambling when he went outside to meet a friend. At some point, the friend pulled out a gun and the man was shot in the leg.

Mack was taken into custody in Atlanta and extradited to the parish July 2. An arrest report says he was charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery. It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
