Man accused of lewd acts in parking lot
GONZALES - Police charged a Prairieville man with obscenity after they said he was caught performing lewd acts in a Gonzales parking lot.
Gonzales PD arrested Derick Moran, 24, on Oct. 30 after receiving complaints he was performing sexual acts in his car while a witness was trying to get into her vehicle.
An officer went to the parking lot where the report came from, and said they found Moran in a white car with the front of his pants open. Police said further investigation confirmed Moran had been performing lewd acts in the vehicle.
Police booked Moran into the Ascension Parish jail on charges of obscenity: sexual acts prohibited in public.
