LSU women snap four game skid, beat Ole Miss 76-57

LSU women's basketball dominated Ole Miss winning big 76-57 on Thursday night in the Maravich Center.

Jenna Deemer led the way for the Lady Tigers with 19 points, however Akilah Bethel posted 16 points and Alexis Hyder had a double double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

LSU was able to snap a four game losing streak with their first SEC win of the season.  Prior to the Ole Miss game LSU had lost seven of their last ten games.

The Tigers shot almost 50% from the floor as well as from behind the arc, and on the defensive end they held the Rebels to 20 points off their average.

Ole Miss falls to 9-6 on the season, 1-1 in SEC play.

LSU improves to 7-8 overall and 1-1 in league play.

The Tigers host Texas A&M at the Maravich Center on Sunday.
