LSU softball season ends at WCWS, 6-3 loss to Michigan
The LSU Tiger softball team surrendered a 3-1 lead as Michigan scored five unanswered runs including the three go ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to send LSU packing for home at the Women's College World Series.
A 3-3 game was broke open when Michigan plated two runs on a controversial fair ball call down the left field line. The Wolverines led 5-3 and would add another on a fielding error in the sixth.
LSU would get runners on base in their final at bats trading outs for base runners.
The Tigers end one of their most successful seasons with a 52-14 record and return a large portion of their roster for another World Series run next year.
