LSU QB Brandon Harris to undergo surgery Monday
BATON ROUGE - LSU quarterback Brandon Harris was scheduled for a “minor surgical procedure” early Monday, according to LSU sports information.
Harris hasn’t gone into specifics about the injury due to a policy put in place by coach Les Miles, but multiple sources on the web indicate Harris was to undergo sports hernia surgery. He did indicate the injury had gotten worse over the course of the season during an interview with the Shreveport Times.

The sophomore quarterback picked up the injury during LSU’s meeting with the Alabama Crimson Tide on Nov. 7. He has mentioned an anticipated recovery time of six to eight weeks including rehabilitation. On this schedule, Harris will be back in action by the time LSU spring practice gets underway.
