LSU freshman likely out after punching window
BATON ROUGE- LSU's Trey Lealaimatafao likely won't be playing this season after he was injured when he punched a window at the football practice facility Monday.
Lealaimatafao, a defensive tackle from San Antonio, apparently was upset over an argument with his girlfriend. His arm went through the window and was severely cut, causing so much blood loss he passed out.
Lealaimatafao was taken to the hospital where doctors gave him stitches.
The 17-year-old was listed as a four-star recruit by ESPN.com and was top on the recruit list for other sports websites. He was in the top 30, nationally, of defensive tackles.
LSU's season begins in Houston, Texas, on August 30 against Wisconsin.
