LSU falls in AP and Coaches polls
BATON ROUGE - LSU's loss to Alabama dropped the Tigers to No. 20 in both the Coaches and associated press polls.
The tigers came up just short in a 20-13 thrilling overtime game against the crimson tide.
Last week, LSU was ranked No. 14 and No. 15 in the AP and coaches poll respectively. Alabama jumped to No. 3 in the coaches poll and remained at No. 4 in the AP poll.
The 3rd edition of the college football playoff committee's rankings will be released Tuesday night at 6:30 CT on ESPN.
The tigers will close the season with 2 road games against Arkansas on Saturday and Texas A&M on thanksgiving night.
