LSU board Ok's pricing plan for football, baseball tickets
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors has approved a pricing plan that increases football and baseball ticket prices in higher-demand sections while maintaining or lowering prices in others.
News outlets report that the LSU athletics pricing plan was approved Friday. A statement says it's the first time the ticket pricing structure has changed in football since 2014 and the first time in baseball since 2015.
Higher-demand Tiger Stadium sections will see 4-12 percent increases, while 24,000 tickets will remain the same or reduced by as much as 16 percent. Tiger Stadium prices will then increase again by as much as 11 percent in 2020. Student section prices are remaining the same.
