Local store's upcoming sale to benefit Baton Rouge food bank
BATON ROUGE - A local retailer has promised to support the Baton Rouge Food Bank's re-opening during an upcoming sale.
For the first weekend of The Royal Standard's Tent Sale, shoppers that donate three or more cans of food or make a $1-3 donation during check out will granted 20 percent off all full-priced items. The food and monetary donations will be sent to the food bank to support its re-opening following the flood in August of 2016.
The food drive will be held during the first weekend of the Tent Sale, Saturday and Sunday Aug. 26-27, at the following locations:
