Livingston woman killed in head-on crash
LIVINGSTON - State police identified a woman who died in a head-on crash this morning as a 44-year-old Livingston resident.
A Louisiana State Police spokesperson said Angela Wilson died in the wreck on LA 42 east of LA 63 in Livingston Parish shortly before 7 a.m.
Troopers said the wreck happened as Wilson was going east on LA 42 in a pickup and crossed the center line, hitting another pickup in the opposite lane head-on. Investigators said they did not know why Wilson crossed over the center line.
LSP said Wilson was not wearing a seat belt when the crash happened and died at the scene. The other driver had moderate injuries. Troopers said they don't suspect impairment on the part of either driver, but took blood samples from both drivers for testing at the State Police Crime Lab.
