Livingston deputies look for credit card scammers

LIVINGSTON PARISH - Sheriff's deputies are looking for information on a man and a woman accused of using a cloned credit card information to purchase more than $1,000 in prepaid credit cards at two different locations in Livingston Parish.

The suspects entered Dollar General locations at Hwy 190 in Holden and Walker South Road in Denham Springs between 4 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 27 and made the purchases, according to detectives.

Deputies said the pair used the illegally obtained credit card data to purchase Visa prepaid gift cards worth $1,300.55.
