Leaving Baton Rouge? Les Miles lists home in gated neighborhood
BATON ROUGE - Fired LSU football coach Les Miles has put his home on the market.
The home, in the gated neighborhood Bocage Lake off Corporate Boulevard, was listed at $1,795,000 Friday. The house has 6 bedrooms with as many bathrooms plus a half-bath in 5,535 square feet. There is a pool and a basketball court.
According to the listing, the house has a "great floor plan with every room imaginable" and includes a slab granite in the kitchens, double ovens and warming drawer.
Bedrooms have private bathrooms and there is an outdoor living room featuring a 19 x 24 screened porch with a gas grill, and double sink overlooking the pool.
The sales pitch reads: "Great for Entertaining!"
Miles' house is a bit smaller and more affordable than the home of the coach he replaced,Nick Saban. Saban's 6,412 square-foot home on Highland Road just south of Lee Drive sold for $2.75 million when he left Baton Rouge in 2004.
