Kenilworth Independence Day Parade

BATON ROUGE- The 43rd annual Kenilworth Independence Day Parade is coming up this week. This morning, Aaron Keating stopped by 2une In to tell News 2's Kylie Dixon more about the celebration.

The parade is a special event for Baton Rouge residents. It's one of Louisiana's largest 4th of July celebrations and features more than 300 participants, 50 vehicles, and over 7,000 spectators.

The 2015 parade will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. It will last about an hour and begins and ends in front of Kenilworth Science and Technology School on Boone Drive.
