Jindal to announce political plans later this month
BATON ROUGE- Governor Jindal is expected to announce his future political plans in just three weeks. According to his chief political advisor, the governor will reveal if he's running for president on June 24th in New Orleans.
Governor Jindal formed a campaign exploratory committee in May, and has hinted at a possible presidential run for a while.
The governor said he wants to wait until the legislative session ends before he makes his announcement. The session ends on June 11th. If Jindal does end up running, he will join an already crowded republican ballot.
