Jindal names new members to higher education boards
BATON ROUGE - Gov. Bobby Jindal has named a former LSU basketball star and a state senator's wife among four new appointees to the state's top higher education policy board.
The governor's office announced Wednesday the newest Board of Regents members:
-Claudia Adley, of Benton, vice president and co-owner of Pelican Gas Management. Her husband is state Sen. Robert Adley.
-Chris Bollinger, of Lockport, former president of Bollinger Shipyards.
-William Gray Stream, of Lake Charles, president of Matilda Stream Management, which has investments in the oil and gas, timber and agriculture industries.
-Collis Temple III, of Baton Rouge, well-known former LSU basketball player and a national sales director for financial services company Primerica.
Jindal also appointed new members to the governing boards for the University of Louisiana System and the Southern University System.
