I-10 now open at Louisiana state line after flood emergency
BEAUMONT, Texas - Interstate 10 reopened following flooding along the Louisiana-Texas state line.
DOTD updated the situation Saturday morning: "The closures on I-10 westbound from Exit 4 to the state line and LA 12 westbound from Starks to the state line are over."
However, I-10 W remained closed deeper in Texas - west of Beaumont, Louisiana's highway department warned.

Tropical Depression Imelda drenched Texas this week and the weather service declared a "flash flood emergency" for eastern Texas areas.
Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne told ABC News early Thursday morning that the flooding situation in Winnie was “horrible.” Hawthorne said the roads were impassible and the local hospital was being evacuated.
