Houston stadium will enforce bag policy on LSU fans
BATON ROUGE - LSU fans will be met by stricter security enforcing a new bag law implemented this year by the NFL at all NFL-affiliated stadiums.
Those attending the season opener against Wisconsin will be must follow tighter rules concerning what they can bring into the Houston Texans' NRG Stadium Saturday night.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following: all purses, bags or containers larger than a small clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, binoculars case, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags.
According to the NFL Bag Policy, attendees are only permitted to bring see-through bags that can be carried by hand or shoulder and do not exceed a size of 12" x 6". The policy also allows some exceptions for medical purposes. The league also asks all attendees to leave all unnecessary items at home or in their cars as all bags will be subject to an inspection upon entry at the gate.
