Habitat For Humanity: Pink Tool Belt Bash
BATON ROUGE- Habitat For Humanity's 10th annual Pink Tool Belt Bash is coming back to Baton Rouge.
“The Pink Tool Belt Bash is all about women helping other women rise above poverty housing to a more stable environment for themselves and their families,” said Habitat For Humanity executive director, Lynn Clark.
The group has built 250 homes in the area over the past 10 years, and about 320 houses in the foundation's 20 year history in Baton Rouge. It takes volunteers an average of three months to complete a full house.
The Pink Tool Belt Bash raises money for Habitat For Humanity, so the group can continue to build houses and give back to the less fortunate.
The event is going to be held Tuesday, August 25th at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge. Tickets are $60.
