Guilty verdict in 'American Sniper' trial
STEPHENVILLE, Texas - A jury found an ex-Marine guilty of killing 'American Sniper' author Chris Kyle and another man late Tuesday.
Eddie Ray Routh heard he will spend the rest of his life in prison. Routh shot Kyle and Chad Littlefield at a gun range in February 2013.
Routh's attorneys tried to argue he was insane.
Kyle, a famed Navy SEAL, wrote the book that became a blockbuster movie.
The shooting happened in a rural community southwest of Dallas.
