Gonzales crash with empty 18-wheeler
GONZALES - Police say two vehicles including an 18-wheeler collided Saturday night.
The crash happened around 7:40 p.m. at the I-10 Westbound on-ramp at Hwy. 44.
Gonzales police say the truck that delivers for OxyChem in Geismar was not carrying any materials in the wreck with a sedan.
The driver in the sedan was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, and both drivers are expected to be fine.
Detectives say they are still investigating what caused the crash. No charges in the incident have been mentioned.
