BATON ROUGE - If you can sing, now is your chance to show what you've got.

Auditions are now underway for the 2014-15 Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus. Everyone in the Baton Rouge area is invited to try out. The Symphony Chorus will perform at least three concerts over the next year. While the group is already large, Chorusmaster Dr. David Shaler says dozens more could be added.

"Right now we're a chorus of about 120, but that could easily grow," Shaler explains. "We have room for more, and I think they'll find a wonderful community of musicians and singers in the Symphony Chorus."

Auditions are now through Friday, August 8th at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. You can make an appointment by contacting Chorusmaster Shaler by e-mail at dashaler@gmail.com or by phone (225)924-6269, ext. 233
