Five-star defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence commits to LSU
MONROE - Recruiting class fever continues for LSU as five-star defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence has announced his commitment to the Tigers Friday morning.
The 6’3”, 300 pound high school senior is a product of Monroe’s Neville High School where he is rated the No. 5 defensive tackle in the nation and No. 1 in the state, according to 247Sports.com.
Lawrence chose LSU over Ohio State, who are currently ranked in the overall No. 1 recruiting class poll and represent LSU’s main competition this recruiting cycle.
Yesterday, LSU picked up another big commitment in the form of four-star offensive tackle Willie Allen.
