BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a reported house fire on Oswego Street Monday night.

According to BRFD, the cause of the fire is still unknown. Crews arrived at the home in the 3100 block of Oswego Street around 8 p.m. to find smoke coming from the house.

The fire was contained to one of the bedrooms, while the house received little fire and smoke damage, according to BRFD.

Seven people were present at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt. Red Cross was called to assist the residents.
