Firefighters battle two fires simultaneously
BATON ROUGE- Arson investigators were called to investigate a fire that appears to have destroyed a vacant house.
Flames poured from nearly every opening on the structure on Wayne Drive Thursday night. At one point, the fire was topping trees on the property, which is off Winbourne Ave.
Firefighters have not released a full report of what happened but said there were no injuries.
The call was dispatched shortly after another house fire was reported on Harelson, about two miles away. Specific details about that fire were not released by the time of this post.
