BATON ROUGE - A recently-fired employee at the Louisiana Department of Corrections has filed a lawsuit against his former employer, alleging that the accusations that led to his termination were false.

According to lawsuit filed Monday by Dr. Raman Singh, the former medical director for the DOC, is seeking damages from the department after he was fired earlier in November. 

An employee accused Singh of sexually harassing her at a conference last month in Lake Charles. Singh has strongly denied the accusations.
