Fifth LSU early enrollee WR Dee Anderson reports to campus

BATON ROUGE - LSU football has added its fifth enrollee for the spring semester as wide receiver Dee Anderson was officially admitted to the school Friday.

Anderson is now in the company of linebacker Michael Divinity, cornerback Saivion Smith, running back Devin White and wide receiver Stephen Sullivan as the early enrollee for LSU’s 2016 spring semester. All five players will be on the field for spring practice when it kicks off in March.

LSU’s 2016 signing class is now ranked first in the nation with National Signing Day rapidly approaching on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Here’s a breakdown of how that signing class has shaped up so far:

Michael Divinity

Marrero, La. (John Ehret HS)

Highly versatile athlete who demonstrates incredible range and speed and is expected to compete for early playing time … Former quarterback at John Curtis before making the switch to defense at John Ehret … Ranked as the No. 46 overall prospect in the 2016 ESPN 300 … Oversaw a defense that recorded three shutouts his senior year … Invited to participate in the Under Armour All-American Game … Consensus four-star prospect by 247 Sports, Scout, Rivals, and ESPN … Named to the Second Team Defense of the MaxPreps All-American Team and also named to the Louisiana ALL-USA First Team Defense … Ranked as the No. 10 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 8 player in Louisiana according to Rivals … LSWA 5A Defensive MVP as a senior … Led Ehret to the state title game with 60.5 tackles, 13 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 2015 … Coached by Corey Lambert.

A handful of recruits will be visiting LSU's campus over the weekend as Tiger recruiting efforts reach full-tilt.
