Fake police force
LOS ANGELES- Three people were arrested for operating a fake police department they claim has jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico.
Brandon Kiel, David Henry and Tonette Hayes also claim the force has existed for 3,000 years. They were arrested last week in Los Angeles for impersonating police officers in their roles with the Masonic Fraternal Police Department.
Kiel worked for the California Department of Justice and is also accused of misusing his government ID.
The group became suspect when various police chiefs throughout the state got letters announcing new leadership for the group.
