BATON ROUGE - Speed is believed to be a factor in a crash that killed one man on Joor Rd. Saturday evening.

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department says the motorcyclist was travelling north on Joor when he hit a vehicle trying to turn.

The victim's name has not been released.

The driver of the vehicle the motorcyclist hit was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
