BATON ROUGE - Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man wanted on several drug and weapons charges.

Detectives issued an alert about the wanted man, 27-year-old Deontez Mayfield, on Monday morning. Mayfield goes by the alias “Young Slick,” according to EBRSO.

Mayfield is wanted on charges of illegal carrying of weapons, felon in possession of a firearm and several drug charges. He is also wanted on warrants for simple burglary and felon in possession of a firearm, resisting an officer and flight from an officer.
