Donaldsonville man arrested for rape of 14-year-old
ASCENSION - A man, who is registered as a sex offender, is arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old Saturday morning.
Police arrested Albert Fleming, 30, from Donaldsonville. Witnesses reported to deputies they saw Fleming have sex with the 14-year-old who was staying over at the house.
Investigators later learned the victim often visits the residence and fell asleep on the floor. Detectives say Fleming arrived at the house and tried to engage in sexual activities with her. He left to go to another residence when witnesses approached him.
Detectives say Fleming may have tried to have sex with the girl more than once at different occasions against her will.
Fleming is a registered sex offender in Ascension Parish since 2006 for simple rape, forcible rape, drugs, simple assault and violating his probation.
Deputies booked Fleming into Ascension Parish Jail on two counts of aggravated rape.
