LIVINGSTON PARISH - A man wanted for a double-shooting that left one dead and one injured turned himself in Saturday, according to Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lori Steele.

Steele says the accused gunman, Earl Johnson Jr., 24, turned himself in around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Darryl Patrick, 46, died after being shot multiple times on Ed Brown Rd. The second victim, who was not named, was also shot multiple times. Steele said that person is in stable condition at an area hospital.

Deputies are not sure of a motive.

Johnson is charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
