Deputies capture West Baton Rouge inmate after November escape
WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH - Authorities have tracked down another inmate who escaped a West Baton Rouge Parish facility late last year.
According to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Kovaria Williams was apprehended Tuesday.
Officials said Williams scaled a fence at a work-release facility Nov. 13. He had been assigned to a work release assignment in August but had yet to be accepted into the program.
Williams was one of two West Baton Rouge inmates to escape custody in that same week. Less than a week earlier, 40-year-old Michael Jones also escaped a work release facility. He was captured last month.
