Deadly motorcycle crash reported on Bayou Jacob Road
IBERVILLE PARISH - Louisiana State Police responded to a crash on Bayou Jacob Road Saturday evening that took the life of a motorcyclist.
At 5:40 p.m., 44-year-old Sean Cadby of Port Allen of Port Allen was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle northbound on Hwy 77 when a 2011 Toyota Highlander SUV driven by 79-year-old Judith Hillman of Plaquemine entered the highway from Kirtley Drive and directly into the path of Cadby.

Cadby struck the SUV and suffered fatal injuries despite wearing a helmet. A passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Hillman was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
According to Louisiana State Police, this crash is under active investigation and charges are pending, though impairment is not considered a factor at this time.
They also urge motorists to be aware of and share the road with motorcyclists.
