GONZALES - Crews are responding to reports of a large house fire on Highway 941 Tuesday afternoon. 

According to the St. Amant Fire Department, crews responded to the scene of a large fire on  around 3 o'clock. Witnesses reported seeing at least one house on fire on LA 941 near LA 30.

Photos from the scene showed at least one home sustained heavy damage in the fire.
