Crash on exit ramp of North I-110 claims life of 61-year-old
BATON ROUGE – A fatal crash on the exit ramp of North I-110 at Highway 19 early Thursday morning that took the life a 61-year-old man.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday when 61-year-old Leonard Jackson was driving a Hyundai Sonata when his car ran off the right shoulder and crashed into a tree.
Jackson's car burst into flames with him trapped inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
