BATON ROUGE- Court records obtained by the Investigative Unit show it was Tyler Ashpaugh who pointed the finger at three other men in a murder-for-hire case, leading to all of their arrests over the weekend.

Taherah Ghassemi went missing in April. Her car was found burned out near North Baton Rouge. Over the weekend her body was discovered in a wooded area in St. Helena Parish just north of Pine Grove. An autopsy revealed today she was shot in the head.

Tonight, it is unclear whether detectives have the murder weapon. It is also unclear who pulled the trigger.

At a press conference earlier in the day, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux praised the hard work of multiple agencies which ultimately made the four arrests possible.

"Taherah was reported missing five weeks ago today," Gautreaux said. "For five weeks, detectives have searched for her, scoured surveillance video and cell phone records, conducted countless interviews and combed through vehicles, residences and property, looking for clues and evidence."

On Sunday night, the Investigative Unit reported Taherah Ghassemi was recently awarded a $1 million dollar divorce settlement from her ex-husband Hamid Ghassemi. He is the owner of "Import One" car lot in Baton Rouge.

As the investigation continues, District Attorney Hillar Moore pledged to fight for closure and convictions.

"Although its been hard work for a month or so, now we are going to several years we anticipate of work before a final conclusion," Moore said.

The men arrested in the murder for hire scheme are Hamid Ghassemi, Tyler Ashpaugh, Skyler Williams and Daniel Richter.
