Couple accused of posting bestiality images
GONZALES - Sheriff's deputies charged an Ascension Parish couple with obscenity and crimes against nature charges after investigators said the two posted pictures of bestiality on the internet.
Deputies arrested Jonathan Small and Jessica Chaney on Jan. 7 after a search of their Gonzales home.
Investigators said they were notified in December about bestiality images from the area being posted online. The sheriff's office digital forensic investigation division said they identified Small and Chaney as the ones responsible for producing and posting the images. Deputies got a search warrant and seized computers and cameras from the couple's home.
Chief Deputy Tony Bacala said Small used to work at the parish jail and was fired in September, months before they received the bestiality complaint.
The two were booked into the parish jail on a $5,000 bond each.
