Congressman swipes Pope's drinking water glass
WASHINGTON- The Pope's water glass used during his address to a joint meeting of Congress yesterday was taken by a Representative from Pennsylvania who brought it to his office and took a sip.
Congressman Bobby Brady of Philadelphia is a Catholic and made a bee-line to the lectern and grabbed Francis's water glass. He says he took it to his office and he, his wife and two staffers drank from it. Brady says he also invited fellow Democrat and Catholic bob Casey of Pennsylvania to his office and Casey dipped their fingers into the water along with his wife and mother.
Brady says he saved the rest for his grandchildren and his great granddaughter.
