Community forums to be held on police policy
BATON ROUGE – The City of Baton Rouge/Parish of East Baton Rouge will be hosting community forums to discuss and review police policy and provide recommendations for a community action plan.
Topics of discussion include community policing, police accountability, body cameras, police civil service rules as well as training, recruitment, retention, residency requirements and pay incentives.
The forums will be held on Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Baton Rouge River Center in Exhibition Hall meeting room 9.
The forums are free and open to the public, however participants are encouraged to register at https://ebrcommunityconversation.eventbrite.com.
