Cirque du Soleil "Luzia" employee dies in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO - An employee with the Cirque du Soleil "Luzia" show died after being injured last night in what police in San Francisco call an "industrial accident."
Cirque du Soleil says in a statement that the fatal injury occurred during the "pre-set of the show." The employee, a technician, died at a hospital.
Last night's show in San Francisco was canceled.
