Car flips into bayou along I-110 Wednesday evening
BATON ROUGE - Traffic slowed as emergency crews worked a crash where a vehicle drove into a bayou along I-110 Wednesday evening.
Crews were dispatched to the wreck off I-110 between Harding and Airline Highway shortly after 5:30. The car flipped into Monte Sano Bayou.
Police said the man driving the vehicle was headed northbound when, for unknown reasons, hit the guard rail and traveled along it for a time until flipping into the bayou. The driver had minor injuries, police said.
