BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Police Department has released dash cam video after a teen was killed in a police chase last month.

On August 18, officers were in pursuit of three suspects involved in an armed robbery of a car. According to BRPD, Nicholas Paul and Shabastin Paul carjacked a 2004 Honda Accord in the 3400 block of Elm Drive.

The suspects were driving southbound in the stolen car, when, at the same time, an officer was responding to the chase on Evangeline Street.

At the intersection, the suspect's car and the police unit collided.  Jerrold Sherbin, 17, was a rear passenger in the stolen car and died at the scene.

Nicholas, Shabastin, and the officer were transported to a local hospital with moderate to minor injuries. After being released from the hospital, both suspects were booked on various robbery charges. Nicholas was also charged with negligent homicide.

WBRZ has decided not to release the whole video.
