BRPD: Man wanted on 5 attempted murder charges after shooting at car

BATON ROUGE - Police are looking for a person responsible for shooting a woman who was driving car full of passengers in Baton Rouge Tuesday. 

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Avenue B near Woodcock Street. Investigators believe 27-year-old Cody Crump shot the into the victims' vehicle as it was moving down the roadway and struck the driver in the leg.

The woman was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The four passengers were all unharmed.

Crump is wanted on five counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of criminal damage to property. Anyone with information on Crump's whereabouts is asked to call police at (225)389-4869.
